Welcome to the Village Pump. This set of pages is used to discuss the technical issues, policies, and operations of Wikipedia, and is divided into four village pump sections. It can only be speculated that, like the modern office water cooler, the village pump must have been a gathering place to discuss ideas for the improvement of the locale in which its members dwelled.
