Interference may refer to:

- Interference (wave propagation), in physics, the superposition of two or more waves resulting in a new wave pattern
- Interference (communication), in telecommunication and electronics, anything which alters, modifies, or disrupts a message as it travels along a channel between a source and a receiver. Typically the term refers to the addition of an unwanted signal to the useful signal, for example:
- Vaccine interference may occur when two or more vaccines are mixed together in the same formulation
- Interference fit, two items attempting to occupy the same space (eg over-size pin in hole)
- Interference engine, an engine whose pistons can strike and damage the piston valves when the engine is cranked while the timing belt is broken
