Aero Express del Ecuador (TransAm) Ltda. is a cargo airline based in Guayaquil, Ecuador.[1] It is wholey owned by Deutsche Post World Net[1] and provides services for the group's DHL-branded logistics network in Ecuador. Its main base is José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport, Guayaquil[2].

History

The airline was established and started operations in 1991 as Trans Am Aero Express del Ecuador.

Fleet

The DHL Ecuador fleet consists of 1 ATR 42-300 (cn 081) modified with PW121 engines, registered HC-CDX, that replaced the earlier Dassault Falcon 20 aircraft.[citation needed]
