ABS Jets is an airline based in Prague, Czech Republic. It operates executive charter services, as well as aircraft management, brokerage and maintenance[1]. Its main base is Ruzyně International Airport, Prague.

History

The airline was established in June 2004 and started operations in December 2004.^{[citation needed]} In 2007 ABS Jets has acquired a hangar at Ruzyne Airport as part of a plan to become a key maintenance, repair and overhaul company. It has spent 6.7 million Euros ($8.9 million) at the airport so far and is expected to invest a further 11 million Euros ($14.7 million) in infrastructure over the next two years, resulting in some 11,000 square meters (118,407 sq ft.) of maintenance facilities at the airport by mid-2009. It has been certified as an Embraer Executive Aircraft Service Centre[2].

ABS Jets is owned by Czech and Slovak investment group J&T and is a member of the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA)[3].

Fleet

The ABS Jets fleet includes the following aircraft (in April 2008):

• 4 Embraer Legacy 600 (the fourth was delivered in April 2008)
• 2 Cessna Citation Bravo
• 1 Bombardier Learjet 60XR

ABS Jets is expected to end the next year with nine executive aircraft in its fleet.
